I’m pleased to say that the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) has just awarded St Andrews the status of an SEG student chapter. This reflects our teaching and research success in Economic Geology. This makes us one of a handful of SEG student chapters in the UK and part of an elite group worldwide. Well done to Rob Colston and the many BSc, MGeol and MSc students that worked together to make the bid and to bring the award about.
