Anouk Borst‘s paper on her isotope work comparing the U-Pb, Sm-Nd, Rb-Sr and Ar-Ar age estimates of the Ilímaussaq complex has just been published in Lithos. It identifies how late-magmatic and subsolidus reactions in peralkaline rocks modify the initial isotope ratios in these rocks, providing insights into the accuracy of isochron age estimates of peralkaline systems.
